What to Do Before You Come to Yorkdale Dental Centre in North York
At Yorkdale Dental Centre, we can assist with the interpretation of dental insurance coverage and answer any patient inquiry. In the event that a patient requires major restorative treatment, a predetermination will be sent to the insurance company for eligibility.

What to Expect at Your Yorkdale Dental Centre Appointment
At Yorkdale Dental Centre, we try our best to stay on schedule and to keep your waiting time to a minimum. Emergencies do occur, and your patience is appreciated should there be a delay in your appointment.
48 Hours Notice if You Can’t Come
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Please call and give 48 business hours notice to avoid a charge should you not be able to attend. This courtesy will allow other patients to have their dental needs addressed.
We Work With You

Yorkdale Dental Centre fees are formulated in accordance with the current Ontario Dental Association’s recommended fee schedule. Although your dental insurance benefits may not reimburse you at the current fees, we cannot modify them according to your benefit coverage.

Your dental plan is a contract negotiated between your employer and the insurance company, not Yorkdale Dental Centre. Our friendly staff is always willing to help you understand your dental coverage, as it may be difficult to interpret due to the use of dental terminology and procedure codes.

Please remember that insurance companies do not attempt to cover all dental costs, and that any unpaid fees are the responsibility of the patient/insured. Unfortunately, some of the services you need or want will not be covered by your dental plan.
Don’t Compromise Oral Health!
Our goal at Yorkdale Dental Centre is to help you achieve and maintain optimal dental care, which is not necessarily the goal of your insurance company. We do not want to compromise your care based on restraints placed by an insurance company.
We’ll Submit Your Claim
Payment plans available on major restorative and electronic submissions available (where applicable) for prompt reimbursement to you. For your convenience, we accept cash, Amex, Visa, MasterCard and direct payment (Interac).
We encourage you to set up direct deposit with your insurance company to ensure prompt direct deposit into your bank account. Some companies deposit as quick as within 24 hours.

We take dental emergencies extremely serious at Yorkdale Dental Centre, providing emergency dental services within the same day they occur. We ask that you inform us of the emergency as early in the day as possible so that we can accommodate you promptly.
